GeM Registration Guide

To register on GeM (Government e-Marketplace), you can follow the steps below:

Visit the GeM website: Go to the official website of GeM, which is https://gem.gov.in/. Ensure that you are accessing the official GeM website to avoid any fraudulent activities.

Click on "Sign Up": On the homepage of the GeM website, you will find the "Sign Up" option. Click on it to initiate the registration process.

Select the appropriate option: GeM offers registration for three different types of users: Government Buyer, Seller, and Service Provider. Choose the option that best suits your role and requirements.

Provide the required information: Fill in the necessary details in the registration form. The information typically includes your name, contact details, organization details, PAN (Permanent Account Number), Aadhaar number, etc. Make sure to provide accurate information.

Complete the verification process: GeM may require you to verify your identity and organization. This can be done through various methods, such as Aadhaar-based eKYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) or digital signatures. Follow the instructions provided during the registration process to complete the verification.

Create your GeM account: Once your information is verified, you will need to create a username and password for your GeM account. Choose a strong password and keep it secure.

Complete the profile: After creating your account, you will be prompted to complete your profile. Provide any additional details or documents required, such as your organization's registration certificate, bank account details, GST (Goods and Services Tax) information, etc.

Accept terms and conditions: Read and accept the terms and conditions of GeM. Ensure that you understand the rules and guidelines of the platform.

Submit the registration form: Review all the information you have provided and submit the registration form.

Await approval: GeM will review your registration details and documents. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email or notification, and you can log in to your GeM account using your credentials.
